A lifelong word nerd, I grew up re-reading my own diaries and editing with a red pen.
You read that right — I love this stuff.

My editing career grew naturally over time, beginning with friends and family requesting a “fresh set of eyes” on their documents and evolving into referrals for anything from website content edits to resume design support. While working on my degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Penn State, I was a student writer for a magazine called The Odyssey. After college, I worked at the magazine’s headquarters as a full-time copy editor. Since then, my career has continued to focus on writing, editing, and storytelling. In 2017, I completed a master’s degree in Communication Technology, which helps me tell your story on the digital screen.

I currently work for a large consulting firm as a proposal writer and lead a team of copy editors.

I believe in Oxford commas. I believe that consistency is key. And I believe that as an author, sometimes your journey doesn’t fit exclusively into one, standard, existing style guide. But if it does? I know that style guide like the back of my nerdy hand. Let’s do this.
